Snowberry has been planted on sporting estates ever since its introduction from America in 1879. It spreads alarmingly and soon creates a tough ticket of wiry stems. Pheasants in particular love the security it affords.

Size: grows to 1.5m 3-6ft
Environment: Grows anywhere, tolerates shade.
Key Features: Quickly forms thickets especially good for pheasants. Forms large white berries in winter but neither birds or humans desire them
