Aftercare
The Cedar of Lebanon requires a special spot because once planted does not take kindly to being transplanted.. A giant of a tree that can grow up to 100ft tall with a spread of 60ft. Well drained soil and in full sun. Plant well away from your home. Can handle both cold and warm conditions but thrives in a good hot summer, so plant in a sunny position. It is best to fertilise your Cedar of Lebanon from end of winter through to the end of spring using all purpose fertiliser with slow release. After planting, keeping the soil consistently moist is crucial, especially during the initial establishment period. Water your Lebanon cedar once a week, allowing the top layer of soil to dry slightly between watering. Once established, this tree is quite drought-tolerant, but it will benefit from watering during prolonged dry spells. Does not require pruning unless any branches are damaged.
