Green Weeping Beech trees (fagus sylvatica pendula)

Green Weeping Beech trees -Given space, a circle about 30 metres across, and time, around 100 years, it is possible to grow this tree to its full potential. There are few more impressive arboreal objects than a mature weeping beech. A framework of ascending branches supports its lax shoots which may hang in tresses 15 metres long from high up in a great billowing cloud like crown. In midsummer its luxuriant foliage casts the most delicious shade. It's believed to have been first cultivated in Britain in 1836. Young trees need special care, particularly formative pruning, to ensure they do not go off at an unsightly tangent. Our range of Beech plants include (Purple Beech - Fagus Sylvatica Purpurea)(Weeping Purple Beech-Fagus Sylvatica Purpurea Pendula) and (Green Beech- Fagus Sylvatica)
